2 State, 13 Regional and 77 Community Drives Planned for Allied Campaign in October

With Cincinnati swinging toward a successful climax of its great “drive,” with campaigns in fifteen communities of Northern Massachusetts under way, with communities in Taxas all reporting successful efforts to raise their quotas for the $6,000,000 sought for the Joint Distribution Committee’s rescue work in Eastern Europe, and the upbuilding program of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, the month of October is witnessing intensified activity throughout the country on behalf of the Allied Jewish Campaign.

Two state drives, 13 regional campaigns and 77 community drives make up the Allied Jewish Campaign schedule for the current month, according to an announcement from national headquarters here.

The state drives are being held in Arizona and Arkansas. The regional drives are in Western Oklahoma, the Amarillo, Breckenridge, Fort Worth, Dallas and Houston zones in the state of Texas, the Clarksville, Greenville, Gulf and Meridian districts of Mississippi, the Ashville and Goldsboro districts of North Carolina as well as Central Illinois.
