200 Attend Jewish Economic Conference Opening in Cracow

A Jewish economic conference attended by over two hundred delegates from West Galicia and Silesia opened here yesterday in the Jewish community house, with representatives of the communal and tax authorities present. The speakers emphasized the deplorable and ruinous tax system and asked that the government help to create employment for the Jewish population by employing Jewish workers on government communal enterprises.
