200 Egyptian Jews Arrive in France; 115 to Be Transferred to Israel

Two hundred Egyptian Jews arrived at Marseilles last night on the Yugoslav ship, “Yugoslavia,” with 115 scheduled for transfer to Israel by the Jewish Agency.

Seventy-five percent of the passengers on regular ships arriving at Marseilles from Egypt are Jews, transit officials have reported. The 115 Jews emigrating to Israel include 36 stateless passengers, 61 Tunisian nationals, seven Moroccan Jews, eight French, and one each of Italian, British and Lebanese nationality.
