Mcre than 200 employees of the Shell Oil Company here today called a 24-hour warning strike in protest against the failure of the firm to satisfy a series of demands submitted by the workers several months ago, with the approval of the Israel Treasury.
Representatives of the Shell company conferred last night with Haifa Labor Council leaders and submitted a set of counter-proposals. The Council turned down the counter-proposals, whioh were said to represent the views of all oil companies operating in Igrael.
