Two thousand students under the leadership of Endeks (members of the anti-Semitic National Democratic Party) yesterday staged a huge demonstration in front of the University of Poznan buildings and marched off in the direction of the city’s Jewish quarter shouting anti-Semitic slogans. Foot and mounted police succeeded in dispersing the crowd, arresting ten students, before any damage was done. The Jewish quarter is being patrolled by police.
