Builders working near Jerusalem’s old city wall have uncovered the remains of a 2,000-year-old channel, according to an announcement made here today.
It is believed that the passage originally served as an ancient water supply for Jerusalem, and also an a secret passage between Mount Moriah and Mount Zion for the Jewish defenders of the city.
