A relief campaign for Jewish war victims in Europe was proclaimed here last night at a huge meeting hold at Luna Park, attended by more than 20,000 Jews from all walks of life.
The meeting was addressed by the Chief Rabbi of Yugoslavia, Isaac Alcalay and by Baruch Zukorman of New York, both leaders of the World Jewish Congress. The former Argentinean Finance Minister, Sr. Pindo, was also one of the principal speakers.
