There are between 15,000 and 20,000 Staatenlose (men without a country) in Berlin, according to a statement made at a meeting of the Federation of Staatenlose in Berlin. It was stated that although the League of Nations had been dealing with the question of the Staatenlose and with the question of the issue of a new form of passport the matter was still unregulated.
The question of the Staatenlose, it was pointed out by several speakers, is part of the question of the minorities rights of the post-war period, and its solution had to be found in the provisions of the Peace Treaties.
