The city of Tel Aviv, with its 150,000 Jews, has not more than 22,639 residents who are entitled to vote in the forthcoming municipal elections, it was announced today upon the completion of the voting lists.

Although the city is 100 per cent Jewish, the majority of the population here is not anxious to secure Palestinian citizenship. Most of the city’s residents are still citizens of East European countries.
