A group of 233 Yemenite Jews arrived here today from the Joint Distribution Committee’s refugee camp in Aden, where some of them have been for years, awaiting permission to enter Palestine. The camp is now almost empty, but about 500 to 700 other Jews from Yemen are stranded in the desert, suffering from hunger and disease, because they are not able to immigrate here.
