24 Writers Protest Rioting in Praha

Twenty-four leading Czechoslovakian writers today isued a manifesto strongly condemning riots and violence against the Jews by Czechoslovakian students.

The writers appealed to the student youth groups to “counteract the transplantation to Czechoslovakia of an organized reactionary alien movement and activities.”
