The 24th annual convention of the Mizrachi Women’s Organization of America will open here tomorrow night with more than 1,000 delegates representing 50,000 members in all sections of the U.S. in attendance.
Problems of Youth Aliyah work, child-restoration, social welfare activities, Jewish National Fund efforts and related programs projected by the organization for 1950 will be considered. Speakers will include Rabbi Wolf Gold, member of the Jewish Agency executive who recently arrived here from Israel, and Gen. John Hilldring, former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State. The convention will continue through Tuesday.
