Twenty-five Governors of American states, and 25 Mayors, are among visitors to Israel this year, in tours arranged by the committee on tourism of the American Committee for Israel’s Tenth Anniversary Celebration, says an announcement made here today by Lawrence Laskey, chairman of the group’s committee on tourism.
The American Governors, Mr. Laskey stated, are the guests of the Israel Government. The Israel government also has arranged for the reception of the Mayors and for contacting them with local officials in Israel.
