Approximately 250 refugees in Italy will benefit from the first bi-monthly distribution of Palestine immigration certificates under the new six-month schedule. This is expected to alleviate the anti-refugee feeling which had reached a serious point in official circles because of the inability of many refugees to emigrate. This feeling had evidenced itself in deportation of one refugee to Germany and the threatened deportation of several hundred more.
