Twenty-five thousand persons last night attended a huge miss rally in Luna Park, Largest outdoor stadium in the city, to ##### Dr. Moises Toft, Israeli Under Secretary for Latin America.
After hearing Dr. Toff describe Israel’s fight for peace and independence as similar to the Argentine struggle for liberation during the last century, the meeting adopted a resolution calling on the Argentine Government to recognize Israel’s provisional Government. After the rally, several thousand persons marched through the streets of Buenos Aires carrying banners and shouting slogans urging the recognition of Israel.
Dr. Toff is scheduled to he received at Asuncion, Paraguay, today by President Natalicio Gonzalez and Foreign Minister Domingo Montanaro. The Israeli Under Secretary, who has already visited four South American countries on his current tour, was received by Argentine Ministers and Miguel Miranda, President of Argentine Economic Council, with whom he discussed the possibilities of buying agricultural products.
Last week, he called on the Russian and American ambassadors to Argentina.## was accompanied on his official visits by Dr. Carlos Grunberg, member of the Israeli mission.
