A mass meeting attended by 25,000 persons last night adopted resolutions protesting British Palestine policy, expressing solidarity with Polish Jewry and the World Jewish Congress and launching a 5,000,000-peso campaign for overseas relief and Palestine reconstruction.
Speakers included Ezra Teubal, noted industrialist, Deputy Enrique Dickman and Dr. Nahum Goldman, chairman of the administrative committee of the World Jewish Congress, who arrived last week for a speaking tour. Messages were read from President Chaim Weizmann of the Jewish Agency, Dr. Stephen S. Wise, president of the American Jewish Congress and Sephardic Chief Rabbi Ben Zion Meir Uziel of Palestine.
