The drive for $250,000 for an addition to the B’nai B’rith Orphans’ Home at Erie, Pa., was started here today when an intensive campaign to raise $2,000 in this city began. Morris Black, prominent Bethlehem business man, is chairman of the drive and Rabbi I. Chapin is associate chairman.
The home takes care of children from District No. 3, which includes the states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and West Virginia The drive is expected to end by May 1.
