Two hundred and fifty thousand dollars was raised here for the construction of a new pavilion by the Jewish Hospital of Brooklyn. The money was pledged at a testimonial dinner honoring Isidor Leviton, hospital president, at the Commodore Hotel.
The new hospital Pavillion now under construction will house 20 clinical and research laboratories; large operating room suite, with 11 operating rooms; expanded X-ray department and 50 additional beds, among other things.
