The 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Mizrachi Organization of Canada will be marked at the group’s annual convention, opening here tonight and continuing through the week end. Some 300 delegates from all sections of the Dominion are expected to attend the parley.
The convention is under the joint sponsorship of the Mizrachi, Mizrachi Women and Hapoel Hamizrachi organizations in the country. Discussions on the “establishment of a Mizrachi city in Israel and the promotion of religions Jewish education throughout Canada” will be highlighted, it was announced. Speakers will include Rabbi Zeev Gold, member of the Jewish Agency executive in Jerusalem.
