Subventions of 75,000 zlotys for the loan societies of the J. D. C., 50,000 zlotys for the Jewish professional schools, and 24,000 zlotys for the Jewish deaf and dumb institution, as suggested by the Jewish Deputies Club, were adopted yesterday by the budget commission of the Sejm after a third reading of the budget. Other suggestions of the Jewish Deputies Club, including one for the Jewish schools, were refused. The subvention to Jewish religious needs remains as in the past 120,000 zlotys instead of the million zlotys asked for by the Jewish deputies.
