A record-breaking total of $2,700,000 has been raised this year by the Women’s Division of the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York, toward the Federation’s 1963-64 maintenance campaign, it was announced today by Mrs. Alan H. Kampner, chairman of the women’s group. The amount, she said, “is the greatest ever attained by any women’s organization.
Data at the annual luncheon of the division showed that, since 1921, the women’s group has raised more than $72, 000,000 to support the Federation’s affiliated medical and social welfare agencies.
