Some 2,800 persons contributed to the United Jewish Social Fund appeal this year, it was announced here today.
The Fund distributed to beneficiary agencies a total of 313, 000,000 francs. Of the total, 112,000,000 francs went for general relief purposes, 31,000,000 for youth groups, 17, 000, 000 for medical work, 75, 000,000 for children’s homes, 56, 000, 000 for cultural and educational activities and 21, 000,000 for summer camps for children.
