The Council for German Jewry announced today that £560,000 (about $2,800,000) has been raised to date for the project to expatriate 100,000 German Jews within a period of four years. The Council has set a world quota for the campaign of $15,000,000, of which $10,000,000 is to be contributed by American Jewry, with the remainder to come from Great Britain and other European countries.
