More than $33, 000 was raised toward the cost of building a lecture hall at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in the first two hours of an art sale held here yesterday.
More than 3, 000 persons visited the sale, the fifth annual event at University House here. A number of the 700 paintings and pieces of sculpture on view were sold early, including a bust of the late Prof. Albert Einstein by Sir Jacob Epstein.
