ALFRED M. COHEN, PRESIDENT OF B’NAI B’RITH, PAID TRIBUTE TODAY TO “THE FOUNDERS OF A GOVERNMENT WHICH ESTABLISHED THE INDISPUTABLE RIGHT OF EVERY INDIVIDUAL TO WORSHIP GOD ACCORDING TO THE DICTATES OF HIS OWN CONSCIENCE.”

MR. COHEN SPOKE ON AN INTER-FAITH CONSTITUTION DAY BROADCAST OVER A COLUMBIA Broadcasting System network arranged by the National Conference of Jews and CHRISTIANS. ILLINOIS SUPERIOR COURT JUDGE JOHN B. MCGOORTY AND REV. ERNEST FREMONT TITTLE OF CHICAGO REPRESENTED CATHOLIC AND PROTESTANT GROUPS RESPECTIVELY.

B’NAI B’RITH LODGES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES ARE CELEBRATING THE SESQUICENTENNIAL OF THE CONSTITUTION.
