A grocer and two of his customers were injured when on explosion ripped through a grocery shop in Bnei Brak this morning. One of the injured was a pregnant woman. Police suspect terrorist activity and are trying to determine how the explosives were brought into the shop in the religious township north of Tel Aviv.
A device exploded near a bus station in the French Hill quarter of Jerusalem early this morning but caused no casualties. The blast occurred at 3 a.m. local time when the station was empty.
Police reported that the body of the third of three terrorists who tried to infiltrate Israel by sea last week was washed up on the beach near Nahariya yesterday. The terrorists were drowned when an Israeli naval patrol boat sank their motorized dinghy. Several hand grenades, a bayonet and a Kalochnikov rifle were strapped to the body. The bodies of the other two terrorists were recovered shortly after the incident.
