three young Jewish ghaffirs (supernumeraries) were killed today and two were dangerously wounded when a railway tender in which they were riding struck a terrorist planted land mine near Ekron, in southern Palestine. The victims were Corporal Gershon Marmelstein, Moshe Woulger and Zeev Rothstein, all 24 years old. The wounded are Isaac Feldman, 23, and Chanon Brot, 24.
Earlier, a British police sergeant was killed and two other Britons were wounded when a time bomb exported on a police launch off the colony of Nathania.
