3 Jewish Women Elected to London Municipal Council

Three Jewish women were elected to the London Municipal Council, the election returns show. Nette Adler, daughter of the late Chief Rabbi Adler, and Mrs. Nathan, wife of Major Nathan, were elected on the Liberal ticket. Mrs. Harry Day, wife of Harry Day, M.P. was elected on the Labor ticket.

Others elected to the council were Sir Oscar Warburg, Conservative, former chairman of the council, and the following Laborites: Samuels, Silkin, Davis and Strauss.
