Some 300 youths, mainly left-wingers and Communists, demonstrated with banners and placards near the United States Embassy in Tel Aviv yesterday in sympathy with their counterparts in Washington, The demonstrators were mostly students, many Americans among them, and carried signs in Hebrew, Arabic and English with such slogans as “American Imperialism” and “Yankees, Hands Off Vietnam.” The presence of a large policy contingent kept the demonstrators orderly.
