Three hundred delegates, representing leading Jewish fraternal, religious, cultural and social college fraternities and sororities, will meet this evening at the Central Jewish Institute to plan the participation of their member ship in an active program of boycott against products made in Nazi Germany.
The conference has been called under the auspices of the Youth Division of the American Jewish Congress. It is expected to enlist more than 10,000 young people in this city alone in the boycott program of the American Jewish Congress, which is being directed by a committee of which Dr. Joseph Tenenbaum is the chairman.
Speakers #ill include Rabbi William F. Rosenbloom of Temple Israel, Dr. Joseph Tenenbaum, I. Posnansky and Max Leive.
The formation of a vigilantes committee with branches in all sections of the city, for the purpose of checking on the importation and sales of Nazi-made goods, with a view to bringing about their elimination, will be one of the first objectives of the conference.
