Reporting that an army of 3,000 anti-Semitic “shock troopers” has pitched its tents on the beach at Constanza, the Mayor of the Black Sea resort city today sent an appeal to the authorities for a regiment of gendarmes to prevent anti-Jewish disturbances.

The Mayor declares the “army” is terrorizing Jewish visitors to the resort and is killing the season for the hotels.

Flaunting their slogan, “Clean Rumania’s Beauty Spots of Jewish Parasites,” the so-called shock troopers, members of the anti-Semitic Cuzist party, are raiding many resorts along the Black Sea shore. The Cuzists board trains entering the resort area and drive Jews off before they reach their destination.
