Three hundred and twenty-one Jewish immigrants were among the 14,634 who arrived in Canada during the month of March, according to a report made public by the Jewish Immigrant Aid Society of Canada.
The Jewish immigrants were destined by provinces as follws: Quebec 90; Ontario 115; Manitoba 33; British Columbia 14; Saskatchewan 633 and Alberta 6.
There was one detention. Through the intervention of the legal aid department of the Jewish Immigrant Aid Society, he was permitted to enter the country.
