A total of 341 Jewish displaced persons sailed from Venice for Israel today aboard the Italian steamer, S.S. Campidolio.
Among the Israel-bound immigrants are 152 Jews from Czechoslovakia, 91 from Austria and 18 from Hungary who arrived from their respective countries this morning and immediately transshipped for Israel. The contingent also includes 80 DP’s who have resided in Italy for some time.
