Thirty-five representatives of Jewish organizations in New York left today by plane on a survey mission to Europe and Israel. Organizations represented on the flight are members of the Council of Organizations of the United Jewish Appeal.
The group will report to the Council upon its return on the current situation of the survivors of European Jewish Communities abroad and particularly on their reestablishment in Israel. The Council of Organizations of the United Jewish Appeal of Greater New York is composed of more than 5,000 Jewish organizations in the metropolitan area having a total membership of 750,000.
