The Joint Distribution Committee has announced that it is negotiating with the Czechoslovak Government for some 300,000 Jewish books recently discovered in a Nazi warehouse in Prague. The books, which are mostly texts, are needed for the reestablished schools in Jewish communities and DP camps. All of them still bear the stamp “Verboten.”
