The 35th anniversary of “Hadoar,” the only Hebrew language weekly in the United States, was celebrated here tonight at a dinner at the Hotel New Yorker. The dinner also marked the publication of the Scfer Hadoar, the special anniversary issue, a 306-page volume made up of contributions by 60 American Hebrew writers, all residents of this country, 15 of whom were born and educated in the U. S.
Principal speakers at the dinner were Philip Klutznick, president of B’nai B’rith and Moshe Feinstein, president of the Hebrew P. E. N. Club of America. Dr. Moshe Davis, Provost of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and chairman of the Hadoar executive committee, presided. Dr. Simon Federbush opened the function.
