A total of $3,901,563 was raised here in the recently concluded joint campaign of the Combined Jewish Appeal and United Israel Appeal. J.M. Lowy, general chairman of the drive, reported today.
This year’s drive, Mr. Lowy said, netted an increase of $339,447, or 9.5 percent, over the total contributions raised last year.
