(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

Three Christian students and one Jewish student were seriously injured and scores of Jewish and Polish students arrested in new riots which broke out yesterday in Cracow’s historic square, Sukienniece.

The trouble started when a group of thirty Jewish students, wearing the insignia of the Jewish Student Society, at the University of Cracow, were attacked by a large group of Christian students because they continued to display their fraternal insignia, not-withstanding the protests of the Polish student body. In the free-for-all fight, passersby were attacked. The police were called out to restore order, making many arrests from both camps.

The Jewish students, it was stated, decided not to surrender to the demand of the Polish students and new riots are feared.
