Nine persons remained hospitalized today for injuries sustained in a railroad crossing accident last Thursday in which four Israeli soldiers were killed. The latter, all Druze or Circassians aged 19-20, were identified as Eliah Sabah, Hamid Tatoui, Ahmed Abbas and Naif Quardaf. They were riding in an army half-track when it was struck by a Haifa-bound train at Bustan Hagalil, a rural junction on the Nahariya-Haifa line. The accident was attributed to the half-track driver’s failure to see the warning lights at the unguarded crossing. The accident is under investigation.
