Forty fur merchants and manufacturers contributed $3,000 towards the $1,250,000 fund being sought by the Greater New York Campaign of the United Jewish Appeal for the relief of German Jews at a luncheon held Wednesday at the Fur Merchants Club, 333 Seventh Avenue. The merchants were guests of Harold Russek of Russeks—Fifth Avenue, who is serving as chairman of the Fur Division of the campaign.
I. Edwin Goldwasser, co-chairman of the Greater New York Campaign, was the principal speaker at the luncheon.
