Forty ringleaders of the recent anti-Jewish rioting in Bucharest have been arrested, the Minister of the Interior declared in Parliament today.
The minister’s statement was in reply to a sharp interpellation on the pogroms submitted by the Socialist deputy Pistiner, who inquired what the government had done to check the anti-Jewish uprising commenced last Friday and continued unabated for three days.
