More than 400 employees of the Palestine Administration stand to lose their jobs, according to a report in the “Express”. The reason given for the proposed dismissal of this large number of employees is the necessity, in view of the Government’s deficit, to reduce expenses.
Most of the employees to be dismissed are native Palestinians, the correspondent asserts. A large number of the positions which will be left vacant are among senior posts of the administration.
