At a meeting of the Rabbinical Pension Board held here last night, Rabbi Samuel M. Gup of Chicago was elected to fill the vacancy existing on the Board occasioned by the death of Jacob Aaronson, as chairman of the Board. In his report, Rabbi Gup pointed out that 400 rabbis are now enrolled in the pension plan, holding policies with a matured value of $9,870,000. The Rabbinical Pension Board represents the Reform Rabbis of the country in all life and annuity matters.
