More than 400 Jewish leaders from all parts of the United States and Canada will attend the 55th annual meeting of the Joint Distribution Committee which will be held here tomorrow at the New York Hilton. The JDC meeting will precede the national conference of the United Jewish Appeal which opens on Thursday. The JDC receives funds for its worldwide assistance program mainly from the United Jewish Appeal.
The conference will review the JDC program for 1969 which provided aid to some 300,000 Jews in 27 countries, and will adopt a budget for 1970.
