$40,000 has been left to the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies of New York in the will of Solomon C. Guggenheimer, who died last month at Territet, Switzerland. This was the chief bequest in a total fund of $120,000 left to various charities. Among the other Jewish charities that participate in the will are: Mount Sinai Hospital $7,500; National Jewish Hospital for Consumptives of Denver, $2,500. $2,000 is left to the Jewish synagogue in Krumbach, Bavaria.
