The campaign, which was conducted through the New York Yiddish papers, resulted in $25,000 contributed through the “Jewish Morning Journal” and $15,000 through “The Day.”
Judge Samuei Strasbourger, president of the Hebrew Orphan Asytum appealed for wider support in his report presented Sunday at the annual meeting held Sunday at the Wamer Menorial Gymnasium of the asylum Judge Strasbourger said that the budget of the asylum for the coming year was ###00,000 of which $###00,000 was to be raised by public subscription.Trustees elected for four years were Julius Ochs Adlen Eanry M.
