Forty-two trades and professions have been organized by the trades and professions division of the Community Council of the Jewish Charities of Chicago, it was announced today by Laurence Greenebaum, chairman of the trades division.
The Community Council, which was organized last spring following a campaign for the Jewish Charities of Chicago, now has a membership of more than 700 men, according to A. Epstein, chairman of the membership committee. At the same time, a woman’s division of the Community Council was organized under the leadership of Mrs. Samuel Al#chuler, wife of Federal Judge #loshuler.
