A preliminary survey of election returns from 24 countries reveals that 421 delegates have already been elected to the World Zionist Congress, the Congress Bureau reported today. There are still about 15 countries to be heard from. The Congress this year will have at least 450 Delegates.
The Laborites head the list of delegates with 209 out of 421 thus far recorded. The remaining delegates are divided as follows: General Zionist Confederation (Group A) 79, Mizrachi Orthodox Zionists 64, General Zionist Union (Group B) 43, Jewish State Party 10, Hapoel Hamizrachi 9, Yemenites 5, and 2 still undecided.
