A Histadrut delegation of 43 workers from various Israel industries flew to the United States during the week-end for a three-month visit and tour of American industrial establishments.
While in the United States the Israelis will take various specialization courses and will attempt to see as many American plants as possible. American labor unions have promised them a maximum of assistance.
A total of 4,085 immigrants arrived in Israel in the first week of March, bringing the total immigrant population in the camps to 92,035, it was officially announced here today. The total for February was 11,013, including over 2,000 Yemenite Jews.
