Supreme Court Justice Edward J. Byrne, sitting in Special Term Part 3, Brooklyn, announced yesterday that Certified Yeast Corporation’s suit for $450,000 against Jewish Baker’s Voice, Inc., and others, will be continued tomorrow evening.
The case was originally scheduled for yesterday morning but because another case took more time than was originally anticipated, Justice Byrne made the change in the court calendar.
Other defendants include Bakers and Consumers’ Yeast Co. and Ideal Yeast Co. and Ideal Yeast Co. More than a score of witnesses have been subpoenaed in this case, with the plaintiff charging attacks by Jewish Bakers Voice.
Abe Schwartz and Morris Greenberg, owners of Certified Yeast Corp., allege the defendants have “deliberately and maliciously attempted to prevent the plaintiff’s products, intending to destroy the good will of the plaintiff.”
